Director – DRONIC Network Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and expand the DRONIC ®- certified operator network.

• Formulate regional coverage strategies for Canada, the United States, Australia, and upcoming markets.

• Establish standards for capacity planning and operational readiness.

• Develop scalable models for field operations deployment.

• Create operator certification programs.

• Set qualification standards for visual, thermal, and acoustic inspections.

• Manage field data acceptance criteria and rejection standards.

• Ensure adherence to Transport Canada, FAA, and relevant international regulations.

• Recruit and oversee strategic drone and inspection partnerships.

• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all field data capture operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience leading drone, geomatics, field operations, reality capture, inspection, or infrastructure asset management programs.

• Proven experience in managing distributed field teams or contractor networks.

• In-depth knowledge of RPAS/UAV operations.

• Experience in developing SOPs, certification programs, and quality management systems.

• Strong understanding of photogrammetry, geospatial data collection, or infrastructure inspections.

• Familiarity with regulated operations and safety programs.

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and leadership.
