Director, Deal Maker – US Strategic Sales, AI and Application Led Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of deal strategy, development, and execution for significant, intricate engagements (over $10M TCV), ensuring alignment with customer business transformation objectives.

• Craft and present solutions focused on AI, data platforms, and application modernization, converting emerging technologies into tangible business results.

• Create unique, industry-specific propositions linked to measurable client impacts such as growth, efficiency, and innovation.

• Establish trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders, guiding strategic discussions on digital and AI transformation.

• Collaborate with architecture, consulting, and delivery teams to develop integrated solutions that encompass applications, data, cloud, and AI.

• Formulate pricing, risk management, and deal structuring strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability.

• Oversee the development of persuasive proposals and lead negotiations until contract completion.

• Highlight emerging trends (such as agentic AI, automation, and intelligent workflows) to distinguish Kyndryl in competitive environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10+ years of experience in managing complex deal cycles and negotiations.

• Proven experience in leading AI-driven or digital transformation initiatives, including application-led modernization and intelligent automation.

• Extensive expertise in complex deal shaping and sales execution, with a successful history of closing large, strategic deals.

• Strong technical and commercial insight, especially in business operations, AI, data, and application sectors.

• Demonstrated ability to translate technological capabilities into business strategies and outcomes.

• Executive presence with the capability to influence CxO-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Solid understanding of market trends, particularly in business transformation, AI, agentic systems, and enterprise application innovation.
