This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Analyze, estimate, and define data transformation requirements for loading data into enterprise data warehouses, including Snowflake, Postgres, and S3, in both production and custom-built analytics environments.
• Develop ETL architecture and design workflows to represent data movement from production to analytics environments, covering both new and legacy AWS analytics platforms.
• Design and create software for database coding.
• Assess project requirements and strategize analytics data solutions, as well as support and deploy AI models.
• Manage ETL and analytics projects related to S3 storage.
• Lead initiatives in analytics and data science ETL projects.
• Supervise team activities.
• Evaluate the technological needs of the organization, create proofs of concept for new implementations or technological enhancements, and propose improvements.
• Bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in the role offered or as a Database Architect or Data Warehousing Specialist.
• 10 years of experience with SQL and the ability to adapt skills across multiple relational technologies, such as Redshift, Hive, SparkSQL, etc.; familiarity with event-oriented and reactive architectures.
• 8 years of experience with Python data skills, including proficiency in Pandas, along with XML/JSON parsing.
• 5 years of experience with AWS technologies, including Redshift, Glue, DynamoDB, S3, streaming platforms such as Spark Streaming, Flink, and workflow managers like Airflow; experience with at least one ETL tool such as Informatica, Pentaho, or SAP.
• 2 years of experience implementing messaging systems at scale, such as Amazon Kinesis or Apache Kafka; knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Scala.
