Director, Data Science

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Propel product and business outcomes by nurturing data scientists.

• Provide mentorship and establish clear expectations for data science teams.

• Oversee various data science projects to ensure timely delivery with maximum effectiveness.

• Engage in cross-functional collaboration using data to affirm strategic directions.

• Enhance the data pipeline and formulate strategies for actionable insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in data science or machine learning engineering.

• More than 4 years of experience in team leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to establish multi-team roadmaps.

• Capacity to mentor seasoned data scientists.

• Experience with deployment and iteration of machine learning and natural language processing solutions in production.

• Advanced skills in SQL and query optimization.

• Knowledge of columnar databases such as BigQuery, Clickhouse, Redshift, and Druid.

• Strong experience with LLM and AI technologies.
