This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the company's contract services team with a focus on effective management.
• Oversee quality control of the substantive services delivered by the Contract Services team, ensuring the accuracy of outputs for internal clients.
• Draft contracts for specific transactions lacking customer templates, collaborating closely with business units to grasp the transaction details.
• Review, analyze, and negotiate complex governmental procurement and contracts.
• Develop, update, and manage process and training documents for Contract Services.
• Oversee and facilitate the management of the contracts repository, reporting, and associated databases.
• Spearhead the implementation of technological solutions to enhance team efficiency and accuracy in contract review and execution.
• Provide senior attorney guidance to the Contract Services team, including responsibilities related to personnel management.
• Take a leading role in resolving other internal customer issues within the scope of the Contract Services area.
• Minimum of seven years of experience as an attorney in a law firm or corporate legal department, focusing on commercial contract management services.
• Extensive experience collaborating with business clients and cross-functional teams while leading strategic projects and initiatives.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial and/or licensing agreements.
• Significant experience in managing and expanding a contracts or legal team.
• Highly self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills, alongside excellent oral and written communication abilities and sound judgment.
• Proficient in managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Creative problem-solving skills to address complex challenges effectively.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple matters and projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate strong internal relationships, influence others, and collaborate with team members across all levels of the organization.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding corporate information.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
