This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee construction operations across all phases of projects, ranging from preconstruction and planning to closeout and warranty.
• Propel the execution of the company’s strategy, operational goals, and financial performance targets.
• Establish, implement, and uphold construction standards, best practices, and quality control programs across the organization.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams, promoting accountability, teamwork, and professional development.
• Collaborate with business development and project development teams to facilitate project pursuits, budgeting, scope formulation, and client presentations.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost-to-complete reports, billing, and profitability across the construction portfolio.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, design professionals, and key industry stakeholders.
• Lead contract negotiations and assist in managing contractual agreements with owners, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in line with the company's quality standards.
• Drive risk management initiatives through proactive planning, issue resolution, and involvement in company-wide risk mitigation strategies.
• Review project schedules, construction methodologies, procurement strategies, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to relevant building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Address complex project challenges, escalated client issues, and construction-related concerns.
• Monitor project performance through regular site visits, progress assessments, and collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
• BA/BS degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field of study.
• Over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of performance contracting, design-build construction, and delivering projects to the MUSH market.
• Exceptional project management capabilities.
• Proven history of success and demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and mentor junior staff members.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Current understanding of the industry, with a commitment to maintaining and expanding knowledge.
