📋 Description

• Supervise and coordinate all activities within the Retirement Operations team.

• Specifically, ensure the successful delivery of compliance tests and employer calculations.

• Accountable for organizational planning and the development of annual staffing plans.

• Inspire and lead teams through periods of change.

• Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the associate experience.

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize unified processes to drive efficiencies.

• Collaborate and establish relationships with key stakeholders, client services, IT, products, and other operations teams.

• Identify, track, and monitor key performance metrics, recommending operational adjustments to enhance performance.

• Align departmental priorities to achieve business plan objectives, maximizing revenues, client retention, and organic sales.

• Engage in strategic initiatives and collaborative opportunities across the organization.

• Manage the budget, including developing budget proposals, justifying expenses, and overseeing accounts.

• Identify and create solutions to address risks while assisting in developing strategies aimed at ensuring alignment.

• Responsible for safeguarding, securing, and appropriately handling all confidential data held by Ascensus.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent professional experience.

• Master’s degree is preferred.

• 8-10 years of experience in the retirement services industry, with a focus on cash balance plans, defined benefit plans, and compliance administration for defined contribution plans.

• Exceptional time management and/or project management skills.

• Outstanding communication abilities, including presentation and public speaking skills.

• Demonstrated leadership experience with strong decision-making skills and the ability to build effective operational teams.

• Proven knowledge and experience with the legislative/regulatory landscape in the retirement industry.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with various internal and external counterparts.
