📋 Description

• Direct and oversee adherence to NERC, FERC, and other federal electric regulatory standards, along with state and ISO/RTO requirements, emphasizing NERC 693 standards and EIA submissions.

• Manage compliance issues for NERC-registered entities and assets within X-ELIO NA.

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely filings to NERC, FERC, ERCOT, PUCT, and EIA.

• Lead the preparation for audits, self-certifications, spot checks, data submissions, and self-reports.

• Create, implement, and maintain compliance procedures, internal controls, and preventative measures.

• Keep records and evidence that demonstrate compliance with all relevant requirements.

• Monitor and review regulatory changes at NERC, ERCOT, ISO/RTOs, and other authorities, ensuring prompt adjustments to new or revised rules.

• Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate the effects of regulatory changes and coordinate compliance strategies.

• Engage in regulatory and reliability forums, representing the company in outreach efforts.

• Assist in organizing and delivering compliance training for internal contributors and stakeholders.

• Work alongside internal teams and subject matter experts to address compliance challenges and track corrective measures.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience with NERC, ERCOT, and reliability standards.

• A solid understanding of federal, state, and ISO/RTO regulatory frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience in managing regulatory filings, audits, and compliance programs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.

• Capability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and accountability.

• Team-oriented with a proven track record of collaboration across various functions.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities; adept at prioritizing and multitasking efficiently.

• Highly detail-oriented, with a firm commitment to accuracy and compliance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
