This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Collaborate with Media leadership to enhance growth strategies, make pricing decisions, and allocate resources effectively.
• Offer financial expertise on go-to-market strategies, client renewals, and new product launches within Media offerings.
• Oversee the financial planning process for the Media sector, encompassing annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly reviews.
• Ensure that business drivers align with corporate financial objectives.
• Provide actionable insights that shape strategy and promote improved financial results.
• Identify and implement enhancements to processes that boost forecasting precision and reporting efficiency.
• Support finance transformation projects, including automation and standardization of data.
• Guide and mentor junior finance professionals to cultivate a culture of high performance and effective change management.
• Promote a culture characterized by accountability, curiosity, and ongoing improvement.
• Analyze and extract insights from business and financial results as well as KPIs from stakeholders, ensuring that key business drivers, outcomes, and risks are woven into a coherent narrative that informs decision-making.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships to execute complex analytics and support a global operating model.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in Finance, particularly in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnerships.
• Experience in supporting commercial or product teams within a matrixed, high-growth environment.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities, with a talent for influencing senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Proven capability to engage with all management levels and employees, showcasing strong interpersonal skills and a constructive approach to conflict resolution.
• Demonstrated success in leading critical business reporting and data/information collection, delivering high-quality, timely results while holding others accountable.
• Proven ability to interpret financial data into business narratives and influence executive stakeholders effectively.
• Critical thinker with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and learning.
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
• Extensive knowledge of financial planning systems, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and contemporary FP&A technologies.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with excellent communication skills and the ability to present effectively at the executive level.
