Director, Clinical Operations

📋 Description

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for daily operations, in partnership with the Senior Vice President of Neurology Operations, concentrating on business unit transformation, growth, performance enhancement, and overall operational execution.

• Oversee the creation and upkeep of sophisticated analytical tools, KPI dashboards, and performance reporting in collaboration with IT, Data Warehouse, and Analytics teams, ensuring data integrity, standardization, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.

• Spearhead the improvement of clinical payroll and compensation systems, guaranteeing accuracy, transparency, and scalability through the integration of data architecture and operational workflows.

• Accountable for driving processes and monitoring KPIs related to turnaround times for internal requests regarding launch capacity and timing for late-stage growth opportunities, in coordination with the Business Development Department, leading up to the official “handoff to launch” processes.

• Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Neurology Operations to design and implement scalable, repeatable processes that incorporate operational, financial, and pricing considerations to support sustainable growth, including new program offerings and operational readiness for their success.

• Assist Business Unit Leadership by partnering with Finance on forecast modeling and revenue realization tracking; support business unit leadership during Monthly Operational Reviews and critical executive presentations.

• Recognize data quality risks, reporting gaps, and process inefficiencies early, and support mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate with Clinical Provisioning teams to enhance scheduling optimization and automation within the TIQ-Scheduler suite in Salesforce.

• Directly supervise staff, including assigning work tasks, coaching, and general performance management.

• Mentor, develop, and coach direct reports with a focus on building career paths for professional advancement.

• Administer progressive discipline, including corrective actions when necessary, to ensure high levels of job performance and compliance with company policies.

• Conduct formal performance evaluations for all direct reports and create action plans for ongoing development and performance improvement.

• Manage payroll activities for direct reports, including timekeeping, approval of time-off requests, and other administrative functions.

• Other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, including operational leadership roles.

• Advanced skills in Excel and analytics, including experience with data visualization tools.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy when interacting with hospital partners, physicians, and patients.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

• Knowledge of standard clinical procedures, laws, and regulations.

• Capability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.

• Enthusiasm for working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

• Ability to operate with precision and vision, driving scalable processes.

• Capacity to thrive in a rapidly growing organization and a fully remote work environment.

• Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time.

• Occasional travel for meetings and collaboration will be required.
