This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Observe global market dynamics concerning core industries, pertinent vendors, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide CIOs and IT leaders in maintaining a leading edge in a rapidly changing technological landscape and amidst geopolitical challenges.
• Build credibility as an authority in artificial intelligence and technology platforms, representing Gartner Business and Technology Insights on subjects such as AI platform integration, incorporating AI into operations, and implementing and managing AI agents.
• Engage actively in brainstorming and group discussions to develop well-founded viewpoints on technical issues impacting CIOs, particularly regarding artificial intelligence.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative research to generate impactful insights for our C-level clientele.
• Create evidence-based, easily digestible, defensible, and actionable content.
• Offer high-quality, practical advisory services to executives, CIOs, AI leaders, and technology decision-makers through various channels.
• Design and deliver engaging presentations for webinars, executive briefings, and other client events.
• Provide robust sales and service support to retain and expand Gartner’s client base.
• Identify opportunities for research process enhancements or create new processes to aid the team and Business and Technology Insights in delivering client value.
• Act as a mentor and coach by assisting junior team members.
• Over 8 years of experience as an information technology executive in one or more of the following sectors: government, banking, manufacturing, or healthcare.
• Strong technical background acquired within an IT organization, rooted in an engineering discipline (e.g., AI platform engineer, systems engineer, information security engineer, cloud engineer, solutions architect, etc.).
• Experience in preparing organizations for AI—specifically, modernizing data architecture and cloud computing capacity to facilitate AI agent orchestration.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven executive presence; capable of establishing credibility quickly with executives and other stakeholders.
• Agility in learning and comfort operating in highly matrixed environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a highly cooperative environment.
• Excellent organizational skills: ability to meet tight deadlines and produce high-quality outputs.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and simply.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills; capable of engaging clients and responding effectively to their inquiries.
• Proficiency in data analysis and synthesis; able to apply analytical models and frameworks effectively to derive and justify conclusions for client challenges.
• Capacity to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate and support others within a global, multicultural team.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, as this role necessitates daily communication in English with clients and colleagues across different regions, including the United States.
