This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy for Smart Factory solutions that aligns with LG’s global business goals.
• Oversee revenue objectives and profitability (margin) management.
• Predict industry trends in AI, Robotics, and Digital Twin technologies to adjust business strategies and retain a competitive advantage.
• Assess and identify potential M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures to broaden the solution offerings.
• Create and streamline a scalable sales process, encompassing lead generation systems, advanced CRM analytics, and forecasting.
• Direct business development and the finalization of multi-million/billion dollar contracts, focusing on negotiations and deal structuring.
• Collaborate closely with Business Management and R&D to ensure the provision of customer-centric solutions.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with C-level executives (CTO, COO, CIO) of Fortune 500 manufacturing firms, delivering customized solution presentations, demos, and ROI-based proposals.
• Influence strategic direction within industry consortiums and standard-setting organizations to establish LG’s technology as the industry standard.
• Act as a thought leader and keynote speaker at global industry events to bolster LG’s market presence. Build trusted connections with decision-makers at key accounts and promote account growth.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-caliber team of BD managers and solution architects, nurturing a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Implement top-tier sales enablement tools and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and success rates. Represent LG at trade shows, conferences, and industry consortiums to boost visibility and lead generation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Over 15 years of experience in business development and solution sales related to Smart Factory, Industrial Automation, or advanced manufacturing solutions.
• More than 5 years in a leadership/management position, with a proven history of overseeing high-performing sales teams and achieving annual targets exceeding $100M.
• Extensive experience managing long-cycle, complex consultative sales in Heavy Industry, Automotive, Battery, Pharmaceutical, F&B, and other sectors.
• Exceptional skill in articulating complex technological value propositions to non-technical C-suite executives.
• Experience navigating global matrix organizations and managing cross-border business challenges.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing automation, digital transformation, and the smart factory ecosystem.
