This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Formulating long-term strategic plans aimed at fostering and sustaining business growth within the designated territory.
• Leading business development initiatives to meet sales and new business targets from the identification phase to contract award, including overseeing the proposal management process.
• Building and nurturing relationships with senior stakeholders within client organizations and UBC.
• Discovering new sales prospects within our Evidence Development and Safety & Risk Management Segments through proactive prospecting, networking, and executing targeted marketing campaigns.
• Overseeing a portfolio of key accounts assigned to you.
• Participating in trade shows as necessary to promote client engagement and marketing opportunities.
• Supervising both new and ongoing client opportunities.
• Sustaining and growing the opportunity pipeline to meet growth targets.
• Managing client expectations and UBC’s deliverables effectively.
• Offering strategic insights and formulating tactical plans for new business ventures.
• Submitting and overseeing the distribution of new business opportunities through established business development and proposal procedures.
• Participating in, supporting, and creating presentations for the Bid Defense development process.
• Juggling multiple deliverables across various phases of the sales process.
• Collaborating with UBC Sales Management on brand enhancement, product development, and commercial strategies.
• Keeping track of market developments and trends.
• Proposing, recommending, and executing measures to improve the overall business development and acquisition process.
• BA/BS degree in a related discipline, MBA, or equivalent business/management training.
• Over 5 years of relevant late-stage clinical/safety experience.
• Proven experience in alliance management regarding the overall strategy of account partnerships, governance, account health, and business expansion.
• Established business relationships that can be leveraged by UBC to deepen access to strategic and newly assigned accounts.
• Demonstrated success across large, medium, and small accounts alike.
• An active participant who can support UBC’s centralized proposal, pricing, and contract functions and possesses a clear understanding of the sales requirements for the program, its clients, and the competitive market landscape.
• Capability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• A proven track record of managing projects within set deadlines.
• Experience in building relationships and networking within the industry.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in planning and achieving goals with minimal supervision.
