Director – Athlete Activation Data & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and implement metrics for customer activation across various channels.

• Expand measurement throughout the entire lifecycle, focusing on retention, loyalty, and reactivation.

• Identify obstacles in the activation and lifecycle funnels, providing data-driven advice to enhance conversion and engagement.

• Collaborate with CRM and loyalty teams to assess and refine campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and owned channels.

• Create reports and insights regarding customer lifetime value (CLV), retention, churn, and the performance of loyalty programs.

• Spearhead the creation of advanced customer segmentation frameworks utilizing behavioral, transactional, and demographic data.

• Construct and manage propensity models to support targeted activation and engagement strategies.

• Collaborate with data engineering and identity teams to create a unified view of the customer using first-party data.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing teams.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Math, Political Science, Finance, Engineering, or Liberal Arts.

• Extensive experience with CRM systems, loyalty programs, and first-party identity data.

• A proven history of measuring and enhancing customer activation, lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies.

• Practical experience in customer segmentation and propensity modeling techniques.

• Demonstrated success in designing experiments, causal inference, and attribution modeling, including A/B testing.

• Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Python/R, BI platforms like Tableau/Looker).

• Required experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Customer Data Platform (CDP).
