This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Spearhead innovative research initiatives focusing on warehouse technologies.
• Conduct in-depth research and create written content.
• Provide insights through client calls and presentations.
• Offer guidance to clients on business cases and vendor selection processes.
• Contribute to research and ideation efforts across Gartner.
• Prepare and present at industry events.
• Assist the sales team as part of the Gartner Supply Chain sales cycle.
• At least 7 years of experience in systems and solutions necessary for automating and optimizing warehousing and distribution operations.
• Strong grasp of end-to-end supply chain concepts.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their implementation.
• First-hand experience with various vendor WMS solutions is highly preferred.
• Background in warehouse automation, WCS/WES, and warehouse robotics.
• Experience with artificial intelligence applications in warehouse settings.
• Excellent writing and presentation capabilities.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and critically.
