Director, Analyst Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Direct the implementation of Smartsheet's global analyst relations strategy to enhance go-to-market approaches and back critical business and product initiatives.

• Assist in crafting Smartsheet's narrative for analysts to influence perceptions based on Smartsheet's vision, strategy, and significant competitive advantages.

• Collaborate with teams across Smartsheet at all organizational levels to articulate, support, and deliver narratives that integrate technology trends, roadmap planning, and various use cases and markets.

• Lead the strategy and execution of analyst engagements including inquiries, briefings, advisory days, event sponsorships, and analyst roadshows.

• Own the assessment and business reviews of the AR program's impact, providing regular updates to Smartsheet leadership regarding analyst engagement and outcomes.

• Work alongside product, sales, and marketing teams to foster the development, promotion, and facilitation of analyst relations content.

• Enhance processes and workflows to continuously improve daily operations related to analyst relations.

• Oversee analyst contracts and relationships.

• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10-15+ years of experience in analyst relations within a technology firm, ideally with SaaS exposure.

• Comprehensive understanding of key enterprise technologies and the transformative impact of the technology ecosystem.

• Proven history of positioning technology firms as leaders in prominent analyst research.

• Consistent success in leading and executing analyst relations initiatives while building collaborative relationships with influential analysts, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI-enabled tools to boost daily productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance the quality and efficiency of analyst relations operations.

• Experience in evaluating and implementing strategies and programs, with the ability to support recommendations with rationale and data.

• Strong executive presence and interpersonal skills, capable of persuading and motivating all levels of the organization as well as analyst stakeholders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for translating technology features into business outcomes.

• Strategic thinking ability with the capacity to develop compelling narratives grounded in data and facts.

• Strong project and relationship management capabilities.

• Excellent mentoring and leadership skills to cultivate and inspire a high-performing, motivated team.

• Relationship-oriented with experience in building successful senior-level connections, both internally and externally.
