This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop innovative, thought-provoking, and essential content that delivers "must-have insights."
• Generate new insights and concepts through thought leadership while offering compelling and actionable strategies to meet client needs.
• Assess client challenges and requirements, pinpoint root causes, and reframe perspectives to enhance strategy.
• Establish positions for Insights within a team of analysts.
• Present independent insights to Gartner leaders and influence research agendas.
• Conduct research, analysis, and forecasting of market trends and shifts.
• Provide actionable recommendations to clients and prospects through both virtual and in-person interactions.
• Create and deliver presentation materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
• Offer sales support and act as the market's voice.
• Conduct timely, high-quality peer reviews of content.
• Represent Gartner insights, methodologies, and strategies as an industry expert.
• Engage in innovation, ideation, research discussions, and collaborate with Insights colleagues.
• Identify enhancements in the research process and develop new service delivery procedures.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Facilitate regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• Over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Professional background demonstrating how AI and emerging business needs are transforming finance roles, skills, and responsibilities.
• Experience in designing and implementing new finance roles, teams, and structures.
• Subject matter expertise in finance team responsibilities including FP&A, Accounting, Finance Transformation, and Finance IT/Systems/Technology.
• Expertise in centralized, decentralized, shared services, and centers-of-excellence finance organizational models.
• Executive presence with a proven ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellence in research and writing capabilities.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, along with analytical, presentation, and client engagement abilities.
• Skillful in analyzing and synthesizing data, applying patterns and frameworks.
• Capability to explain complex concepts in a concise and straightforward manner.
• Subject matter expertise and comfort in presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the field.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across diverse teams in a multicultural global environment.
• Learning agility and adeptness in navigating highly matrixed situations.
• Competence in effectively representing Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all levels.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, when applicable.
