Director, AI Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and expand Net at Work’s portfolio of AI and data services.

• Lead AI initiatives for clients from initial discovery and data preparation through to deployment and ongoing adoption.

• Establish standardized service offerings, delivery methodologies, tools, quality benchmarks, and reusable assets.

• Act as a senior advisor to client executives, converting AI and data capabilities into quantifiable business outcomes.

• Oversee delivery quality, staffing, capacity, scope, and performance across all engagements.

• Create and manage a high-performing AI and data services team.

• Collaborate with Sales and business leaders to build pipelines, define engagement scopes, and enhance strategic client relationships.

• Design ongoing managed, subscription, and advisory services that prolong client relationships beyond the implementation phase.

• Manage the P&L for AI and data services, including revenue, margins, growth, and recurring revenue objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in client-facing AI delivery, including scoping, delivering, or leading AI solutions to production.

• In-depth understanding of applied AI and contemporary data technologies, such as LLMs, agentic workflows, automation, data architecture, integration, and analytics.

• Over 10 years of experience in technology or professional services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a business unit, service line, or delivery organization.

• Responsible for P&L with accountability for revenue and margin.

• Experience in building or scaling new service offerings or delivery capabilities.

• Proficient in defining delivery methodologies, standards, and tools.

• Demonstrated ability to scope and sell complex engagements to executive-level clients.

• Strong leadership skills with experience in building and developing client-facing technical teams.

• Executive presence with the capability to translate intricate technology into straightforward business results.

• Preferred: Experience working with SMB and mid-market clients.

• Preferred: Background in ERP, CRM, business systems, data and analytics, or technology consulting.

• Preferred: Familiarity with managed services, subscription, or retained advisory models.

• Preferred: Experience in a private equity-backed organization.

• Preferred: Relevant certifications in AI platforms.

• Customer approval may be necessary for access to customer data, systems, and/or premises.
