Director, AI – Experience Orchestration Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of AI and Experience Orchestration Directors (individual contributors) who function as specialized overlay sellers.

• Develop and implement clear operating models that outline how AI specialists collaborate with core Account Executives on accounts and opportunities, while also driving independent activities and sales cycles in suitable accounts.

• Foster consistent execution of AI-focused sales motions that align with pipeline and revenue objectives.

• Collaborate with subregional direct sales leadership to synchronize AI specialist coverage, priorities, and engagement strategies.

• Ensure that AI specialists effectively convert customer business challenges into AI-driven use cases, measurable outcomes, and compelling value narratives.

• Exemplify strong executive presence, thought leadership, and consultative selling techniques in both customer and internal interactions, setting a benchmark for specialist sellers.

• Assist in complex, strategic enterprise opportunities by engaging with senior customer stakeholders alongside Genesys sales leadership and specialist sellers.

• Keep abreast of AI market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to continuously enhance specialist enablement, messaging, and sales strategies.

• Work collaboratively across functions with Product, Marketing, Enablement, Customer Success, and Professional Services to channel customer insights back into the organization, thereby enhancing field performance and improving Genesys’ go-to-market effectiveness.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise software sales, particularly in AI-related solutions within the customer experience sector.

• More than 5 years of experience managing teams of specialists, subject matter experts, direct sales, or pre-sales professionals.

• Strong comprehension of AI-powered customer experience, conversational AI, or experience orchestration technologies.

• Proven ability to drive outcomes through collaboration with Account Executives and sales leadership without direct ownership of accounts or opportunities.

• Documented success in supporting enterprise sales teams to achieve new logo acquisition and expansion growth.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive engagement abilities.

• Strong collaborative skills with comfort in navigating matrixed sales environments.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and guide teams through complex and ambiguous sales processes.
