Director – Accounts Receivable Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide disciplinary and functional leadership to multiple team leads at the people-manager level and their national and international teams.

• Hold global responsibility for the management of accounts receivable.

• Transform manual tasks and outdated structures into scalable, digital end-to-end processes in areas such as dunning, collections, and write-offs.

• Drive optimizations in SAP, automate workflows, and enhance dunning and collections processes with RPA and AI support.

• Improve DSO, ADD, collection rates, and bad-debt rates through data-driven management techniques.

• Derive operational measures based on performance metrics.

• Create reporting systems with clear KPI logic, enabling self-service structures and decision templates for the CFO and top management.

• Ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders from Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, and IT.

• Take ownership of well-defined interface specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of leadership experience at the people-manager level in accounts receivable or related finance areas within international corporations.

• A proven history of successfully transforming and digitizing finance functions.

• Experience in implementing automation and AI projects.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

• Familiarity with SAP FI.

• Experience in supporting and expanding BI and reporting frameworks.

• Professional demeanor and presence at the C-level.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Demonstrated capability in change management and delivery.

• An entrepreneurial mindset combined with a practical approach.

• Proficiency in German and English at a negotiation level (C1/C2); additional languages are advantageous.
