Director, Accounts Receivable – Anesthesia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise, develop, and take responsibility for client revenue ranging from $10M to $20M.

• Lead a team comprising 5 to 15 members.

• Concentrate on enhancing operations by collaborating with the Vice President of Accounts Receivable to formulate and implement strategies.

• Responsible for driving performance through established departmental KPIs and ensuring accountability within the team.

• Ensure that Assistant Directors and Managers provide leadership and develop training plans for new hires.

• Mentor and coach team members who are underperforming.

• Collaborate with the analytics team to review and analyze reports and data to enhance efficiency.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for members of the Accounts Receivable team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Experience in anesthesia is highly preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Claims within the healthcare sector.

• Strong analytical skills and a proven track record in leading initiatives for process improvement and project management.

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Private Pay, Liability, and Workers’ Compensation requirements and procedures, as well as diagnosis and medical terminology.

• Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of and ability to adhere to HIPAA, HITECH, and patient confidentiality policies.

• Advanced understanding of the revenue cycle is essential; experience with ASC billing is a plus.

• Experience with Epic is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in creating and delivering client-facing content and presentations.
