Director, Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and oversight to the financial shared services organization.

• Ensure the implementation of effective financial internal controls and the accuracy of consolidated financial statements.

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of accounting managers and analysts.

• Develop and execute strategies related to Financial Shared Services functions.

• Collaborate with both internal and external auditors.

• Monitor and assess monthly operating results in comparison to the budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BA/BS).

• 8 to 10 years of robust financial management experience.

• Minimum of 4 years in a leadership role within Shared Services.

• 3 to 5 years in a controllership position supporting executive leadership at the CFO level.

• Strong comprehension of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.

• Knowledgeable in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.

• Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA and HFM is advantageous.

• Experience with Blackline is preferred.
