This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage the comprehensive direct mail acquisition strategy from start to finish.
• Oversee data append collaborations and collaborate with the Data Science team to create propensity models.
• Lead the creative strategy, including design elements, messaging, and personalization efforts.
• Supervise print vendors and negotiate pricing to achieve cost per piece (CPP) goals.
• Establish send volumes and frequency based on analysis of marginal profitability.
• Propel executive communications by showcasing program performance metrics.
• Serve as the authority on direct mail and keep abreast of industry developments.
• A minimum of 7 years of direct response marketing experience, with at least 5 years focused specifically on direct mail.
• Extensive experience in managing in-house direct mail initiatives with a complex data strategy.
• Strong understanding of direct mail economics, including CPP targets and cost structures for printing and postage.
• Proven history of leading creative strategy with thorough testing and well-documented learning agendas.
• Demonstrated capability to function as a senior individual contributor.
• Excellent executive presence and communication skills to effectively influence senior leadership.
• Background in the Fintech or Insurtech sectors is highly desirable.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and adept at utilizing AI tools (such as Hex, Claude, Gemini).
