Digital Triage Registered Nurse – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess and provide clinical support for incoming patient inquiries.

• Perform telephone evaluations of clinical symptoms to identify the most suitable care pathway.

• Aid in the creation of processes and systems for urgent care and virtual triage.

• Work in partnership with clinical care teams to ensure outstanding patient care for both primary and urgent care patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed RN with over 2 years of experience in clinical triage, ideally in an ER or primary care environment.

• Current Nurse License Compact (NLC) holder.

• Possession of active RN license(s) in NY, NV, MI, MN, OR, CA, MA, CT, or IL is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of chronic disease states and complex medical conditions, along with exceptional capability to conduct clinical phone assessments; experience in high-acuity clinical settings (e.g., ED, ICU) is a plus.

• Committed to the ongoing enhancement of the broader system that supports individuals in a more efficient, cost-effective manner.

• Proficient in conveying urgent needs to a diverse patient population and across various teams.

• Skilled in written communication and technology utilization.

• Experience in delivering culturally sensitive education to patients and their families, tailored to their level of medical understanding.

• Background in functioning and collaborating within multidisciplinary care teams.

• Demonstrates excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to navigate systemic challenges to meet patient needs.

• Experience in geriatrics is a bonus.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is an added advantage.
