This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee digital delivery for the remediation sector in the US West, guiding from strategic direction through to execution.
• Discover opportunities to enhance value via new systems, enhancements to existing systems, and optimized business processes.
• Outline initiatives, required resources, timelines, anticipated benefits, and make recommendations for leadership.
• Establish and refine the digital roadmap while prioritizing initiatives.
• Direct delivery across both new and ongoing engagements, including practical solution development.
• Configure and develop solutions utilizing Smartsheet and the Microsoft platform.
• Choose suitable technologies that align with corporate standards.
• Evaluate capability gaps and suggest whether to utilize in-house, matrixed, or external resources.
• Coordinate and manage matrixed delivery resources without direct line-management authority.
• Convert business requirements into technical direction and articulate technical options and limitations.
• Supervise requirements, solution delivery, quality assurance/control, scalability, usability, and overall alignment.
• Create and implement standard operating procedures, templates, and playbooks.
• Monitor and showcase realized value and benefits over time.
• Collaborate with the regional Digital Director of Operations on strategy and direction.
• Foster stakeholder alignment among leadership, project teams, technical resources, and end users.
• Manage leadership reporting, progress and risk communication, and escalation of decision-making.
• BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience, or equivalent experience and education in digital delivery, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Capability to pass a background check.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in digital strategy or transformation with hands-on digital delivery preferred.
• Proficiency in performing solution work directly and leading delivery through team members.
• Practical experience in configuring and managing Smartsheet, including Advanced Work Management (AWM).
• Knowledge of configuring Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with EQuIS, Smartsheet, and the Microsoft suite.
• Competency in establishing a digital roadmap and prioritizing initiatives based on value, urgency, complexity, and capacity.
• Experience in developing business cases and tracking realized benefits and value.
• Skill in translating vaguely defined needs into clear directives and tangible solutions.
• Ability to coordinate and direct matrixed resources while bridging business and technical teams.
• Understanding of emerging technologies such as AI and their significance in regulated environments.
• Experience in environmental remediation, consulting, or management is preferred.
