
Digital Transformation and Delivery Lead – Environmental Remediation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Spearhead digital delivery for the remediation sector in the US West, guiding it from strategic direction through to execution.
• Discover opportunities to add value via new systems, enhancements to existing systems, and optimized business processes.
• Define the scope, required resources, timelines, and anticipated benefits, and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Establish and refine the digital roadmap while prioritizing various initiatives.
• Direct digital initiatives across both new and ongoing projects.
• Execute hands-on solution configuration and build tasks in Smartsheet and the Microsoft platform.
• Supervise delivery in accordance with scope, timelines, quality standards, benefits, and corporate technology regulations.
• Choose suitable technologies to meet business requirements.
• Evaluate delivery capabilities and suggest in-house, matrixed, or external resources.
• Coordinate and manage matrixed resources without having direct line-management authority.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions and clarify technical limitations and alternatives.
• Manage the transfer of requirements and solution delivery.
• Implement QA/QC practices and evaluate designs for scalability, usability, and alignment.
• Create and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and playbooks.
• Communicate value propositions and monitor achieved outcomes and benefits.
• Collaborate with the regional Digital Director of Operations on priorities and progress.
• Foster alignment among stakeholders including leadership, project teams, technical resources, and end users.
• Take ownership of leadership reporting and escalate decisions, risks, and progress as necessary.
• BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience, or a proven equivalent of experience and education, in digital delivery, digital transformation, or a related discipline.
• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
• Preferred: Over 10 years of experience in digital strategy or transformation with practical digital delivery experience.
• Capability to perform solution work directly and guide delivery through others.
• Practical experience in configuring and managing Smartsheet, including Advanced Work Management (AWM).
• Experience with configuring solutions across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with EQuIS, Smartsheet, and the Microsoft suite.
• Ability to set a digital roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on value, urgency, complexity, and capacity.
• Proven experience in developing business cases and tracking realized benefits and value.
• Skill in translating ambiguously defined needs into clear directives and delivered solutions.
• Experience in coordinating and directing matrixed resources while bridging business and technical teams.
• Understanding of emerging technologies such as AI and their implications in a regulated setting.
• Background in environmental remediation activities, consulting, or management is a plus.
• Preferred candidates should reside in Central or Mountain time zones.
