Digital Technical Specialist – Senior Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and provide support for MEDITECH-based reporting and analytics solutions.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to collect reporting requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Create and maintain reports and extracts utilizing MEDITECH tools such as NPR, Report Designer (RD), Data Repository (DR), Business & Clinical Analytics (BCA), and Quality Vantage.

• Construct and enhance dashboards and datasets to meet clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory reporting demands.

• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of MEDITECH data structures, dictionaries, and module-level workflows.

• Facilitate reporting across various MEDITECH platforms (e.g., MAGIC, C/S, 6.x, Expanse).

• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of reporting solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate data and reporting challenges using strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Record technical designs, report logic, and data definitions in a clear, client-ready manner.

• Independently manage workload while effectively collaborating with cross-functional project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5–7+ years of practical MEDITECH reporting experience (required; 10+ years preferred).

• Proven experience with multiple MEDITECH reporting tools, including NPR, Report Designer (RD), Data Repository (DR), and BCA.

• Established experience in supporting reporting across various MEDITECH platforms/environments.

• Strong knowledge of MEDITECH data structures, dictionaries, and application modules.

• Experience in developing reports for clinical, financial, and operational purposes.

• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.

• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
