This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Product Strategy & Roadmap
• Collaborate with the Director of Digital Product to create and uphold the Digital Account Opening product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements according to client requirements and business goals.
• Collect feedback from internal stakeholders and clients to guide the roadmap, making trade-off decisions when priorities clash.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes that could influence the product strategy.
• Implementation & Delivery
• Create project plans with well-defined timelines and milestones for product launches and enhancements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, compliance, risk, legal, and operations to ensure all requirements are met.
• Work alongside PMO to establish repeatable launch processes and promote adoption throughout the organization.
• Partner with marketing and sales to produce go-to-market materials and client-facing messaging.
• Vendor Management
• Act as the primary liaison for the Digital Account Opening vendor, managing the daily relationship and escalating issues as necessary.
• Hold the vendor accountable for contractual obligations and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with the vendor to resolve issues, test new features, and implement configuration changes.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization
• Track key performance metrics such as application completion rates, abandonment points, processing times, and client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the user experience and decrease friction in the account opening process.
• Utilize performance data and client feedback to guide product improvements and prioritization decisions.
• Training & Support
• Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for internal teams and clients.
• Deliver product training to internal stakeholders and assist with client onboarding as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of product management experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to digital banking products, account opening processes, or core banking systems.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products or platforms.
• Understanding of web and mobile technologies, API integrations, and the functioning of digital banking systems—sufficient to engage credibly with technical teams and translate requirements effectively.
• Familiarity with banking regulations including the USA PATRIOT Act, BSA/AML, and KYC/CIP requirements as they pertain to account opening.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated individual who can recognize what needs to be accomplished and drive it to completion with minimal oversight.
• Preferred MBA or advanced degree.
• Experience with Digital Account Opening platforms or customer onboarding solutions.
• Product management certification (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product School).
• Knowledge of core banking platforms and integration testing processes.
