Digital Identity Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• In a client-facing capacity, you will be involved in some of the most thrilling, intricate, and innovative projects.

• You will actively contribute to the transformation of our clients’ Digital Identity solutions and operations by designing and implementing Digital Identity technologies, emphasizing Microsoft Digital Identity capabilities, along with leading market vendors (e.g., Saviynt & One Identity).

• As a member of the ICOE Security team, you will find yourself in a unique position within the organization, where you can manage your time across pre-sales and client delivery while having the opportunity to influence the entire Avanade organization through your development of offerings and thought leadership.

• This role is distinctive because your utilization is measured at up to 70% of your time, as opposed to being classified as a conventional “chargeable” or “billable” resource.

• Instead, you will only need to support exciting client opportunities to meet the objectives of the position.

• The remaining 30% of your time will be dedicated to asset and offering development and training, making this role genuinely flexible and appealing for those seeking a cutting-edge Cyber Security position that has a global influence on Avanade and its clients, all while working flexibly and remotely.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of Cloud Identity solutions, including Entra ID Premium (which encompasses conditional access, application single sign-on, and SCIM provisioning, as well as advanced security controls like user and behavioral analytics).

• Proven knowledge of Active Directory and legacy authentication protections (LDAP, Kerberos, etc.).

• Established experience with modern authentication protocols and integrating applications utilizing these protocols.

• Experience in cloud infrastructure entitlement management (CIEM) and decentralized identity.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing Identity and Access Management solutions, including processes for joiners, movers, and leavers as well as access management.

• Demonstrable experience and understanding of Access governance strategies and processes.

• Some familiarity with privileged access management solutions and knowledge of secrets management.

• A solid understanding of the business, privacy, security, and compliance challenges associated with Digital Identities, along with a passion for addressing these challenges for clients.

• A good grasp of how modern identity approaches can be used for secure collaboration and management of third-party/external identities.

• Ability to build logic app workflows for identity lifecycle provisioning is a desired skill but not a requirement.

• A strong understanding of customer identity management systems (B2C and External ID).
