Digital Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop websites and landing pages based on client requests, ensuring optimized delivery for performance (Core Web Vitals and high scores on PageSpeed Insights);

• Create and adapt image files (vehicle photos, website banners) using modern formats (WebP/AVIF), appropriate compression, and correct sizing for each usage context, eliminating unnecessary weight without compromising visual quality;

• Design digital assets for websites, email marketing, sales presentations, and social media based on internal client briefs;

• Maintain website layouts for updating campaigns and information, preserving the performance standards already established;

• Assist in reviewing the design team's outputs by identifying technical optimization flaws as well as aesthetic issues;

• Support the development of internal products/services according to management and executive requests;

• Identify, analyze, and propose improvements in the design department's processes, its interface with other areas, and the digital tools at Alpes;

• Perform other related activities as requested by immediate leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing a consistent creative repertoire, not just proficiency in tools;

• Exceptional attention to detail: alignment, typography, color consistency, and finishing of each piece, without relying on external review to catch basic errors;

• Strong knowledge of web image formats (WebP, AVIF) and compression techniques that do not result in perceptible quality loss;

• Familiarity with performance diagnostic tools (PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTmetrix);

• Understanding of responsive images and lazy loading;

• Detail-oriented profile that constantly seeks to stay updated with the latest design trends and techniques;

• Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator;

• Knowledge of mobile-first solutions and responsive design;

• Ability to balance creative freedom with the technical constraints of web performance.
