Digital Authentication Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and verify sneaker listings prior to their availability for purchase.

• Eliminate unsafe listings or those that fail to meet marketplace criteria.

• Ensure that listings are accurately represented and appropriately classified.

• Detect discrepancies, altered images, and incorrect product information.

• Address community and marketing inquiries related to item moderation.

• Review authentication defect reports and assist in ongoing improvement efforts.

• Stay updated on sneaker authentication techniques, release patterns, and counterfeit methods.

• Participate in and lead training or mentorship programs.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of authentication resources, guides, and verification checkpoints.

• Assess the effects of authentication efforts on defect rates, SLAs, and operational metrics.

• Aid in process enhancements aimed at consistency, quality, and efficiency.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Eligibility to work.

• Proven knowledge and expertise in sneakers and footwear.

• Strong understanding and passion for sneaker culture and footwear trends.

• Interest in sneaker authentication, release history, and counterfeit identification.

• Capability to learn and adapt swiftly.

• Demonstrated independent problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in decision-making.

• Passion for Grailed and/or experience as a power user of the Grailed platform.

• Excellent judgment in managing sensitive, non-public data and information.

• Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

• Commitment to working 20–30 hours per week.

• Willingness to attend team meetings and engage in frequent collaboration.

• Knowledge or familiarity with Nike, Jordan Brand, Adidas/Yeezy, New Balance, ASICS, Converse, Vans, Salomon, HOKA, designer sneakers, and collaborative releases.
