This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The Diet Technician is tasked with collaborating with the Registered Dietitian.
• Execute dietary elements within the program.
• Ensure the confidentiality of patient information and records is maintained.
• Acquire all grocery supplies for the facility.
• Evaluate food service providers for quality products.
• Support the dietary program and guide patients on food selections.
• Prepare meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines.
• Lead weekly dietary group sessions.
• Perform regular inspections of the facility and grounds.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Preferred education or experience in dietary or nutrition sciences.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License is required.
• For the Substance Use Division: A minimum of 1 year of sobriety is needed if in recovery.
• For the Eating Disorder Division: A minimum of 1 year of recovery from an eating disorder is required if in recovery.
• CPI certification must be obtained and maintained within 90 days of hire, with training provided.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications, along with Food Handling/Safety certification, must be obtained and maintained within 30 days of hire, with training provided.
