DFR Installation Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Travel to client locations under various weather conditions to assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain BRINC hardware and software.

• Proactively interact with customers to comprehend their requirements, deliver prompt service, and resolve any issues or concerns during the implementation phase.

• Collaborate with internal teams to diagnose hardware and software problems.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to champion customer needs and propel product improvements based on client feedback.

• Ensure that installations adhere to building codes and safety regulations.

• Foster strong relationships with our Law Enforcement and Public Safety clients to promote customer success and satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to assemble and disassemble products, following installation guidelines and manuals when necessary.

• Fundamental computer knowledge and a basic understanding of networking.

• Basic operational knowledge of MacOS, Windows, or Linux operating systems.

• General experience with electronic components, both low and high voltage electrical wiring, and a basic understanding of mechanics related to hardware assembly and troubleshooting.

• Experience in a fast-paced work environment.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team, take initiative, and communicate effectively.

• Proficiency in independently scheduling and managing all aspects of travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries.

• Capability to safely climb and work from ladders at various heights, as required by the role.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items of varying weights, as needed for the position.

• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
