This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

• Facilitate infrastructure as code initiatives with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Incorporate security scanning and compliance evaluations into build and deployment pipelines, encompassing SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and container scanning.

• Provide support for AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure by adhering to security best practices.

• Assist in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration processes.

• Monitor environments, logs, and alerts; aid in troubleshooting and incident response efforts.

• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and security controls to support audits and compliance.

• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams within an Agile/Scrum framework.

• Acquire knowledge and apply NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP federal security frameworks.


⛳️ Requirements

• An active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or cybersecurity.

• Candidates must reside and conduct their work within the United States.

• US citizenship is a requirement.

• A fundamental understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps methodologies is essential.

• Acquaintance with AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms is preferred.

• Proficient knowledge of Linux and basic scripting in Bash, Python, or equivalent languages.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools like SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy, Checkov, Aqua, or Prisma Cloud is advantageous.

• Experience with Docker and an understanding of basic Kubernetes concepts are required.

• Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, or other federal security standards is beneficial.

• Experience supporting applications within a regulated or governmental context is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

• Entry-level certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Security+, or similar are also preferred.
