DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure, deploy, and sustain security tools across cloud-native platforms.

• Integrate security tools into current software development and deployment processes.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Oversee and enhance security controls within AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes clusters.

• Maintain and improve the security posture of applications, infrastructure, and containers.

• Implement automated processes for security scanning, monitoring, alerting, and remediation.

• Assist with compliance, vulnerability management, and incident response initiatives.

• Continuously assess and introduce innovative security technologies and practices to bolster platform security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a related field.

• Practical experience in managing and securing AWS cloud environments.

• Experience in administering and securing Kubernetes clusters within production settings.

• Proficiency in integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers to embed security into applications from design through to deployment.

• Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy addressing complex technical and security challenges.
