This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize GitHub and/or Azure DevOps to enhance secure delivery processes.
• Automate deployment procedures and optimize release workflows.
• Foster secure development practices within the team.
• Collaborate with developers, security personnel, and operations teams.
• Assist with application modernization and the transition of legacy systems.
• Aid in troubleshooting build, deployment, and integration challenges.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Over five (5+) years of professional experience in frontend or DevOps development, ideally within a federal office environment.
• Proficient in Python 3.x.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django for REST API development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in CI/CD and DevSecOps, preferably in a federal context.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Must possess and be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Experience in a federal setting.
• Background in legacy modernization.
• Proficient in using GitHub and/or Azure DevOps.
• Security+ or cloud certifications are preferred.
• Python Institute certification, such as PCEP, PCAP, or PCPP, is highly preferred.
• Standard business hours with flexibility based on project needs.
• Occasional travel for client meetings, planning sessions, or program events as required.
