DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Operate, manage, and enhance the platform for deploying custom applications, which includes continuous integration, continuous deployment, monitoring, alerting, and capacity scaling.

• Oversee and respond to proactive alerts concerning the platform's health.

• Take preventative measures to avert incidents whenever feasible.

• Conduct troubleshooting and remediation as required.

• Support development teams in defining infrastructure requirements for software projects and implement them through infrastructure-as-code.

• Keep platform documentation updated.

• Comply with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies and controls.

• Uphold all written policies and procedures of the Bank, including those related to BSA/CIP and OFAC monitoring and reporting, security, operations, and personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in automating software builds, testing, and deployment processes.

• Strong preference for candidates with Kubernetes experience, especially in managing production-grade clusters.

• Experience with service mesh solutions such as Istio would be a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with software monitoring and alerting, particularly using Prometheus, would be a substantial plus.

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform would be highly beneficial.

• Knowledge of AWS services is a bonus, especially EKS, IAM, CodeBuild, RDS, ECS, and CloudWatch.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, and/or Go would be advantageous.

• Solid understanding of networking principles and information security basics.

• Basic awareness of software development concepts and practices.

• A strong enthusiasm for learning new technologies and applying them to enhance product offerings.

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and collaborate across various teams.

• Willingness to seek and accept assistance when needed, as well as to provide help graciously when requested and able.

• Capability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
