DevSecOps and API Management Platform Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Create and enhance API platforms, from gateways to developer portals, enabling teams to connect, innovate, and expedite growth

• Incorporate security by design throughout every phase of the development lifecycle

• Establish clear governance and standards for API lifecycle management, encompassing versioning, throttling, and analytics

• Speed up the adoption of infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration to build resilient platforms

• Oversee performance and security, respond swiftly to risks, and pursue continuous improvement

• Spearhead cloud-native and microservices transformations that future-proof the platform landscape

• Mentor and motivate engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of automation, ownership, and innovation

• Investigate new tools, challenge existing norms, and enhance platform capabilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT, Information Security, or a related discipline

• Over 8 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or API management, including more than 3 years in a leadership position

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD

• Proficient in Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM, and apply GitOps and policy-as-code methodologies

• Integrate security throughout development, from code scanning to container security and secrets management

• Manage API platforms such as Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway, or MuleSoft

• Comprehensive understanding of API design, authentication (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS), and governance

• Experience building in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and working with Docker, Kubernetes, and service meshes

• Utilize observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic

• Certifications such as CKA, AWS DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or API platform certifications will enhance your profile
