DevOps Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code principles through Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Manage projects, IAM, networking, VPCs, and resources within GCP.

• Administer Kubernetes clusters (GKE) and Docker containers.

• Handle deployments utilizing Helm.

• Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

• Configure runners and automate deployment workflows.

• Manage Artifact Registry and facilitate database migrations with Atlas.

• Establish monitoring and observability solutions with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Trace, Grafana, and Prometheus.

• Guarantee the security, availability, and performance of the infrastructure.

• Optimize expenses related to cloud services.

• Collaborate with development teams on integration and continuous deployment initiatives.

• Engage in projects related to microservices architectures and serverless environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability, or similar roles.

• Strong background in administering Linux environments.

• Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proficient with Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and Helm.

• Familiarity with implementing GitLab CI/CD.

• Proficient in Git and collaborative development practices.

• Experience with scripting in Bash.

• Knowledge of Atlas for database management and migrations.

• Experience with managing Artifact Registry.

• Understanding of observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Expertise in implementing security best practices on GCP.

• Understanding of microservices and serverless architectures.

• Experience with optimizing cloud costs.
