DevOps Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute infrastructure deployments utilizing Terraform.

• Transform manual deployment workflows into automated pipelines.

• Enhance and maintain current pipelines.

• Transition pipelines across different environments or systems.

• Develop solutions leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).

• Produce design documents and artifacts for proposed and/or executed solutions.

• Create scripts in Bash and/or Python (with a preference for Python).

• Engage in change management, deployment, and release workflows.

• Ensure the availability, performance, security, and resilience of various environments.

• Partake in change management requests (GMUDs) and significant production modifications, including conducting work outside of business hours when prearranged with the relevant teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in CI/CD processes.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Background in implementing, supporting, and migrating microservices from an infrastructure perspective.

• Familiarity with configuration management, pipeline orchestration, and release management.

• Experience using Jira.

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.

• Understanding of Terraform and code versioning (Git).

• General knowledge of AWS Cloud.

• Proficiency in Bash and/or Python (with a preference for Python).

• Specific experience in configuring ECS/Fargate, EKS, API Gateway, and Lambda functions.

• Fundamental knowledge of databases, communication protocols (FTP, SSH, HTTP, etc.), networking, and cloud technologies.

• Advanced English proficiency (reading required).

• Ideally possess at least two AWS Associate-level certifications.
