DevOps Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for collaborating with government clients and program leadership to develop and implement cloud and virtualized automation that supports AI/ML-informed digital engineering design and management.

• Offer subject matter expertise in the creation of automation and the integration of relevant test methods and models for digital testing to ensure validation of design acceptability criteria.

• Design, create, and update software pipelines necessary to execute digital model-based tests in accordance with the approved test plan and design sprint activities.

• Assist in addressing the needs of government programs by implementing physics-based modeling and advancing AI/ML applications.

• Develop, execute, and maintain software/hardware solutions to support PSI's Emerging Technology and Innovation initiatives in VR/AR, robotics, and UAS.

• Provide technical and operational guidance for new development projects.

• Ensure the team adheres to and maintains all configuration documentation for the assigned infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and engineering.

• Proficient understanding of both commercial and military cloud and IT systems and networks.

• Familiarity with government information assurance, policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Knowledge and experience in automation pipeline design, code optimization, and refactoring for maximum performance in advanced mathematics and high-power computing, as well as digital test design and execution.

• At least 3 years of experience with industry-standard test methodologies for hardware, software, and systems verification and validation.

• Understanding of containerized solutions for cloud and IT infrastructures.
