This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assisting in the modernization and transformation of a vast array of enterprise business solutions utilized by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills are essential for success
• Implementing OpenShift at new locations
• Collaborating with both internal and external teams
• Partnering with Security to maintain ongoing compliance
• Over 5 years of relevant experience
• US Citizenship is required
• Operations and Maintenance of the existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across various security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) settings
• Proficient with OpenShift Command Line Interface: All commands including login, project creation (oc new-project), application deployment (oc new-app), exposure (oc expose), logs/debug (oc rsh/logs), and administrative tasks (oc adm policy for RBAC)
• Deploying OpenShift to new sites as they become operational
• Engaging with internal and external teams to comprehend integration needs and scale current platforms to accommodate them
• Collaborating with Security to ensure continuous compliance and to develop secure solutions
• Supporting data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack
• Familiarity with platforms such as Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift, or other container orchestration platforms
• Experience in Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions
• Proficiency with Docker or similar container technologies
• Experience with GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub Enterprise, or comparable source repositories and CI/CD collaboration platforms
• Skills in building/compiling Shell scripting, Java, Python, or JavaScript applications
• Experience with Argo CD or similar continuous delivery technologies
• Familiarity with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools
• A technical background in Software Development or DevSecOps
• Experience with Security/Software Supply Chain scanning
• Familiarity with Configuration Management technologies such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and Git CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins
• Knowledge of container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general
• AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps, Architect, etc.)
• Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies or possession of SAFe certification
