DevOps Manager, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Mentor and nurture a high-performing DevOps team consisting of 2–5 engineers.

• Establish and implement the Azure DevOps vision and strategic roadmap.

• Design, construct, and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps and contemporary tools.

• Drive application and platform modernization within a cloud-first approach.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance reliability, scalability, security, and delivery speed.

• Develop and oversee infrastructure using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or similar technologies.

• Create CI/CD processes for Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Power BI, and database deployments.

• Establish secure, automated pipelines for applications, data, and AI/ML workloads.

• Enhance cloud performance and cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with best practices.

• Act as an escalation point and work closely with architecture, security, and product teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, and platform services.

• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation, ideally within Azure DevOps.

• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, or Azure PaaS.

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud security, DevSecOps, and governance principles.

• Proven track record as a DevOps Lead or Manager with direct experience in people leadership.

• Strong combination of hands-on engineering skills and strategic leadership capabilities.

• Experience managing large-scale production cloud environments.

• History of enhancing delivery reliability and engineering velocity.

• Comfortable working across different functions, including engineering, security, and product teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

• Experience with cloud migrations or modernization projects.

• Background in FinOps or cloud cost optimization.

• Experience in enterprise-scale or regulated environments.
