DevOps Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Guide the technical vision of our DevOps function while enabling a high-performing engineering team to create reliable, secure, and scalable systems.

• Formulate and implement the DevOps strategy, enhancing cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, security, and platform reliability in line with business objectives.

• Lead and mentor a top-tier DevOps team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and technical excellence.

• Manage and prioritize the DevOps roadmap and backlog, balancing business priorities, operational demands, and technical enhancements while promoting Agile delivery.

• Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to eliminate obstacles, mitigate delivery risks, and continually enhance team performance and operational efficiency.

• Ensure the security, scalability, and high availability of production systems by overseeing incident response, root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and the adoption of modern DevOps and AI-assisted tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar technical domain, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes).

• Proven track record of implementing Agile practices, leading cross-functional engineering teams, and promoting continuous delivery and operational excellence.

• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, monitoring, observability, automation scripting, and infrastructure reliability.

• Demonstrated capability to enhance engineering processes through automation, DevOps best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• **Bonus Points:**

• Scrum Master certification or experience in leading Agile transformation initiatives.

• Experience in implementing DevSecOps practices or cloud security best practices.
