DevOps Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage a distributed DevOps Tooling team on a daily basis.

• Oversee backlog management, prioritize tasks, and plan capacity.

• Facilitate sprint planning, execution, and ensure delivery consistency.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical and delivery challenges.

• Evaluate CI/CD pipeline architecture and guide technical choices.

• Assist and remove obstacles for engineers, ensuring a smooth delivery process.

• Mentor team members and aid in their professional growth.

• Effectively communicate with stakeholders, providing status updates, addressing risks and issues, and sharing delivery metrics.

• Collaborate with client-side program managers and product owners.

• Ensure adherence to enterprise processes, including compliance and governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of overall experience, which includes at least 5 years in DevOps and 2 years in a leadership or management position.

• Strong practical experience with Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise/GitHub Actions, Nexus, and Sonar.

• Extensive experience in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance, as well as SDLC tooling and application delivery processes.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools).

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure platforms.

• Automation scripting skills.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments with established processes.

• Knowledge of change management and compliance practices.
