DevOps Engineer V

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, management, support, and operation of cloud-native infrastructure and container orchestration platforms.

• Foster platform reliability, scalability, automation, and operational excellence across essential SaaS and cloud-based workloads.

• Collaborate closely with Cloud Architecture, Security, and Engineering teams to modernize infrastructure and adopt best practices.

• Act as a senior technical leader, influencing architectural decisions and providing mentorship to engineers.

• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering positions.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including managing production clusters.

• Proficient with container technologies such as Docker.

• In-depth experience with AWS, particularly Amazon EKS.

• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation).

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar).

• Robust scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar).

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Excellent skills in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.

• Outstanding communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.
