DevOps Engineer – Platform Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop integrations between internal platform services (e.g., messaging/pub-sub systems), infrastructure systems (compute, storage, networking), and third-party vendor platforms.

• Create services and tools that facilitate automation workflows, system coordination, and orchestration, as well as event-driven infrastructure operations.

• Produce production-quality code in Go, Python, and Rust (as applicable).

• Construct APIs, services, and background workers that engage with infrastructure platforms, CI/CD systems, and automation frameworks.

• Ensure that the code is reliable, observable, and maintainable.

• Integrate software with automation systems such as Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).

• Enable infrastructure workflows through APIs, event-driven systems, and automation hooks.

• Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers (infrastructure and automation) and Development teams (application requirements).

• Convert infrastructure capabilities into usable APIs and services.

• Assist teams in integrating their systems into platform workflows.

• Develop logging, metrics, and tracing functionalities within services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed systems.

• Ensure that integrations are resilient and can manage failure scenarios effectively.

• Identify deficiencies in platform integration and automation.

• Create tools that minimize manual effort and enhance system cohesion.

• Contribute to the establishment of standards for internal platform development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps development, or platform engineering.

• Strong programming proficiency in:

• - Go and/or Python.

• - Rust is a significant advantage.

• Experience in building:

• - APIs.

• - Services.

• - System integrations.

• Robust understanding of:

• - Distributed systems concepts.

• - Event-driven architectures.

• Experience working with:

• - Linux systems.

• - Infrastructure platforms.
