DevOps Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and establish new tools and infrastructure for development to facilitate scalable and efficient deployment.

• Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend technical requirements and convert them into automated solutions.

• Streamline development, testing, and release processes to support continuous integration and delivery.

• Review and test code written by developers, analyze outcomes, and offer feedback for optimization.

• Safeguard system security by applying best practices in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and compliance.

• Detect technical issues, troubleshoot infrastructure problems, and create software updates and fixes.

• Oversee infrastructure projects and operational processes to improve system performance and availability.

• Design and evaluate automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.

• Manage code deployments across various environments, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal stability.

• Track key performance indicators, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies for system optimization.

• Offer technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing opportunities for team members.

• Establish, maintain, and monitor configuration standards to ensure consistency across deployments.

• Provide technical support for operational strategies that align with your program and optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions.

• Ensure that 100% of planned hours are recorded and worked.

• Recognize and communicate any opportunities for growth within your work area to leadership.

• Engage in growth initiatives as requested.

• Ensure that all contractual deliverables are met or exceeded to the customer's satisfaction.

• Complete your personal PDP and attend Company Meetings with the camera on.

• Foster productive and positive professional relationships with clients within your program.

• Fulfill all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and specifications.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret clearance.

• Bachelor's degree with 8 - 10 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 - 8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or IT operations.

• Extensive knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.

• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including their DevOps tools and services.

• Practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Advanced scripting and automation skills using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
