This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the reliability and security of our infrastructure by managing resources in cloud-based environments, overseeing resource provisioning, and performing security audits.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and Product Development leadership to establish and sustain a secure and dependable infrastructure, manage automated code deployment pipelines, and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Provide direct assistance to Product, Technical Support, and Development Teams, manage access control, address service requests, and support customer integrations.
• Enhance existing design patterns, adjust templates, and extend program oversight to incorporate new products.
• Mentor junior team members, disseminate best practices, and contribute to the creation of documentation and training resources.
• Offer systems architecture guidance to development teams and resolve technical issues.
• Implement and uphold security tools, support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance initiatives, and respond to security incidents.
• Oversee source control systems, manage build and release pipelines, and advance Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Operate with increased autonomy, owning end-to-end initiatives and complex technical projects.
• Propel strategic enhancements, focusing on pipeline optimization, automation, and scalability.
• Provide mentorship and share knowledge with junior engineers and colleagues.
• Collaborate with leadership on infrastructure design, tooling selections, and security improvements.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, or Software Engineering.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS); experience in building, managing, and optimizing cloud environments is advantageous.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly with Terraform.
• Skilled in Python and PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and tooling purposes.
• Solid grasp of source control systems (e.g., Git), contemporary software development workflows, and CI/CD tools, including Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with relational databases; familiarity with PostgreSQL or MySQL is an asset.
• Knowledge of API integrations and service-oriented architecture.
• Understanding of system and information security best practices, including incident response and vulnerability remediation.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks is beneficial.
• Comfortable operating in both Windows and Linux environments is a plus.
• Experience with CircleCI is desirable.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following security tools—Tenable, Azure Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty, Azure Key Vault, Mend, or Rootly—is a plus.
