DevOps Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to initiatives focused on infrastructure-as-code utilizing CloudFormation and Terraform.

• Develop and sustain data pipelines.

• Design, create, and manage containerized applications.

• Enhance developer tools to boost team productivity.

• Work with event-driven systems such as Kafka or Kinesis.

• Investigate and incorporate AI tools into platform workflows.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure and platform requirements.

• Take part in the on-call rotation to ensure swift resolution of customer-facing incidents.

• Support CI/CD pipelines that guarantee the timely release of high-quality software.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development.

• Practical experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Experience in building or working with containerized applications.

• Knowledge of developing and maintaining data pipelines.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.

• Experience with developer tools and automation processes.

• Strong proficiency in a scripting language like Python, shell, etc.

• Interest in or experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, Kinesis, or similar).

• A proactive self-starter with a proven track record of handling open-ended challenges and quickly learning new systems.

• Comfortable with ambiguity; able to independently define strategies, identify dependencies, and drive projects to completion without detailed specifications.
